Storyline:
Los Angeles and other cities around the world are bombarded in meteorites, it seems that slowing down once they hit the atmosphere grounds. Earth suddenly invaded by space aliens that have landed shore of LA, and started killing everyone along the beach. The army was ordered into action. Marine Staff Sergeant Nantz (Aaron Eckhart), who has been in retirement, it is transferred to a new platoon. Sent on a mission to rescue some civilians who are trapped at the police station in alien territory. They only have 3 hours to complete their mission and get out before the Air Force bombs that zone.
